VOCATIONIST CATHOLIC COLLEGE CULTURAL DAY

Vocationist Catholic College Ibadan, had her maiden Cultural Day on 12 December,2020. It started with a Holy Mass at 10AM in which 17 students received their First Holy Communion. The candidates for the First Holy Communion were enjoined by the homilist of the day Rev. Fr. Francis Sohe, SDV to reflect in their lives the sacrament they received. “We are what we eat.”

The Cultural Day Celebration continue at 12 noon with presentations from the different cultural groups in Nigeria represented by the three major tribes. It was indeed an avenue of learning and educating our students on the rich values of our Nigeria cultures. There were delicacies from the different cultures represented, cultural dances, dance drama, newscast, recitation of poems. The day had a touch of the internationality as presentations were made in French culture (Language).

The Day was also the Christmas party day for our students as they ate, drank, and celebrated in thanksgiving to God for bringing us all to the end of the year.
