WHO WE ARE
Vocationist Catholic College is a Male and Female boarding school under the management of the Society of Divine Vocations (Vocationist Fathers and Brothers) located at Inu-Odi, Oloje, Ido LGA, Ibadan, Oyo State, in our formation house. Our institution has a mission, goal and charism to search and nurture the beautiful dreams in our young minded students from their tender age until they reach their full maturity stage and enkindling in them that consciousness of the dichotomy between good and bad so as to embrace the virtues laid down for us by Christ Jesus himself and thought by the teaching authority of the Roman Catholic Church.
These children, through our technical and vocational education, we aim at developing young minds that will, in the face of economic meltdown or in the face of hardship, will be self-reliant or independent unraveling for themselves, the hidden treasures in all fields of human endeavors. Being one of our fields of apostolate, Schools, our school also aims at constantly striving to identify and care for those who among our students, shows signs of vocation to a life of special consecration, assisting them in their discernment and formation.
Vocationist Catholic College is an educational private Catholic institution, consisting of male and female students and classes from JSS 1-SSS 2 as at this moment.
- As a Catholic institution, we aim at training our students to develop and reach a complete maturation in the knowledge and virtues of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Church in all ramifications.
- The Vocationist Catholic College aims at producing disciplined, brilliant and creative minds who will be independent early in life, clear sighted about their future career and are deep seated in their life in God.
- To keep at the finger tips of our students the privilege of embracing an educational, technical and vocational curriculum that is encompassing and intellectually stimulating in a conducive learning environment which will help to fan into flame their thinking and independent learning skills.
- To inculcate into our students good moral behaviors that will help to guide them in their relationship with the external world and respect for their neighbors.

OUR HISTORY
How we started: The Vocationist Catholic College took up the name of the propagator of the Nigerian Vocationist Mission, Very Rev. Fr. Louis Caputo, SDV

2017
It was the will of God Almighty that there should be an institution aimed at helping young minds to develop sense of self independence and good moral conduct. The fulfillment of this prophecy was made manifest on the 16th of September, 2017 when we had our first seven pioneering students from Lagos and Ibadan (Bernard Wealth, Bernard Success, Okah Paschal, Osanebi Alexander, Uzoma Immaculate, Nwenyi Angel and Ndubuizu Augustine).
Before the end of the first term that same year, we had another new set of students which made the total number of our pioneering students twelve in number (Jikeme Charlse, Igbozuruike Michael, Gaazo Agatha, Gaazo Benedicta and Emeh Francis).
The first set of Priests in charge of the school where Rev. Fr. Francis Abolaji Sohe, SDV (Principal) and Rev. Fr. Innocent Osareme Offeimu SDV (Bursar/Dean of studies) while the brothers (on regency) in charge of the students were Bros. Ogah Thomas SDV (Assistant House master) and Paul Ihnuze SDV (House Master) and the teaching staffs, Mr. Oriwoh S.E., Mrs. Okoye Patient Agent, Miss. Deborah Poopola, Miss. Grace Abimbola and Mr. Bayode John with just classes of JSS 1-JSS 3.
The Fr. Caputo Catholic College took up the name of the propagator of the Nigerian Vocationist Mission, Very Rev. Fr. Louis Caputo, SDV. The school commenced at the temporary site, the Library complex of the House of Formation of the Vocationist Fathers and Brothers in Ibadan.

2018
To the greater glory of God, at the dawning of the 2018/2019 academic session, first term, Vocationist Catholic College is now housing 40 boarding students of which are both male and female, 16 teaching staffs (including our Vocationist Brothers) with classes of JSS 1-SS 2, a well equipped science laboratory and other facilities.
